It is the goal of Equipped To Serve to encourage, equip and challenge those working in Pregnancy Center ministry to give the best to our clients and volunteers, without whom there would be no ministry.

Equipped To Serve was started by Cyndi Philkill in 1997 in response to the many requests for training she received from Pregnancy Centers around the country who were using the volunteer training manual, "Equipped To Serve" she co-authored with Suzanne Walsh.

Cyndi directed the ministry of the Greater Baltimore Crisis Pregnancy Center for 13 years. She served two years as the Director of Client Services for the Pregnancy Resource Centers of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cyndi has a MS degree from Johns Hopkins University in Organization Development & Training.
